The advantages of hydroculture

The care and maintenance for plants in Hydroculture is easier compared to plants cultivated in soil. With Hydroculture the plants will need watering only every 2-4 weeks, economizing the water used. The level indicator in the pot signals when and how much water is needed. Plants grown in hydroculture develop smaller roots.

This eliminates the need for transplanting plants into bigger pots. It is also possible to put many plants in the same container and unify the water. The culture pots are placed into a larger container and then covered with expanded clay. One water level indicator is used for all the plants. Compared to soil, expanded clay is very clean, remarkably light, and acts as a perfect barrier against parasites and infection.
