History
Hydroware was founded in 1987 by Paolo Donadoni, a young entrepreneur from Bergamo, Italy. His interest in interior hydroculture began in 1977 when this technology began to appear in Switzerland.
Donadoni understood that with hydroculture the plant would still need continual maintenance, but that this maintenance could
now be dispersed over time.
This aspect provided the possibility to create a company able to guarantee a high level of service. During this time, a study
from NASA demonstrated that the introduction of plants in interior spaces was able to purify the environment. Air quality is
improved as the plant extracts the chemical substances in the air and transforms them into nutrition.
Donadoni created the first partnership with Dutch producers of Hydroculture plants while creating a network in Italy. He
founded branches of Hydroware in Milan, Turin, Bologna, Rome, and Naples. In this way Hydroware is able to ensure that clients with offices spread over Italy will be assisted with maximum efficiency. Over the past 20 years of activity Hydroware has been
established solidly in all counties of Italy.
