What is it?

Hydroculture is a system of plant cultivation without the use of soil. The plants absorb the nutrition directly from the water. The stem of the plant is supported by expanded clay, an inert material that is light and porous which helps to maintain the roots' humidity.
Expanded clay is a material particularly adapted for interior cultivation. It is a natural product with many benefits; it does not release toxic substances into the air, it does not disperse fiber or particles, it does not need any treatment and it does not degenerate over time.
